Alongside this individual support, you will also be expected to support the wider class, including working with small groups of pupils, leading or supporting group activities and assisting the class teacher with learning and classroom activities.
We are looking for someone who:
Experience of working with children with autism, ADHD or other additional needs would be desirable. However, we would also welcome applications from someone who has the right attitude, commitment and willingness to learn and develop their understanding of SEND.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference to a child’s experience of school while also playing an important role in supporting the wider class.
At St Mary’s, our Christian ethos and values underpin everything we do, and we are committed to nurturing success in every child.
