Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Flamborough CE (VC) Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and experienced individual to support children’s learning in the classroom and through targeted interventions.
We are looking for a patient, calm and understanding person to support a child who can experience difficulties with emotional regulation, particularly when frustrated or overwhelmed, which can sometimes result in behaviours requiring calm and consistent support.

We are looking for someone who can:
- Build positive relationships with children
- Engage and motivate pupils in their learning
- Remain patient, calm and understanding of individual needs
- Support children with SEND effectively through 1:1 and small group support
- Work effectively with teaching staff and the SENCO
